How We Met: We met in college in a history class. We sat next to each other and have been together ever since. We have been together for almost 16 years and married for over 10 years. We have traveled together and lived in many parts of the country together. We both love spending time together and are really each other’s best friend.

Qualities We Love, Admire and Respect in Each Other: Jeff is kind, genuine, smart and has a great sense of humor. He enjoys meeting and getting to know new people and is always the first to lend a helping hand. Kristin is bright, organized and very family-oriented. She multi-tasks really well and always keeps our family on track. She has a heart of gold and is always thinking of others first. She is currently a stay at home mother and loves spending time with the kids. We are both very committed to our marriage and our children and family is the most important thing to us.

Our Hobbies and Interests: We are a fun and active family. We love to travel and try new things as a family. Our children participate in different athletic activities, so on any given weekend we are running from one event to another. We also enjoy spending quiet time as a family watching movies together, having family dinners and just sitting down and talking with each other. We live in a nice safe neighborhood which has lots of children playing and our children enjoy playing with them. We also live near the ocean, so we spend a lot of time exploring the beach and meeting up with friends.

Why We Want to Adopt: We have always known that we wanted to have children. Sadly, we lost twins shortly after they were born due to complications during the pregnancy and the delivery, and we learned that Kristin wont ever be able to be pregnant again. We worked with a surrogate to have our 2 children and it was such an awesome gift to us. Being parents has given us so much joy and our hearts are aching for one more child to join our family. My sister who I am very close with also has adopted 3 children and we know what an amazing gift this is and can’t wait to have a baby join our family that is filled with love and laughter.
