Professions: Driller/Homemaker

Other Kids: 1 daughter

How We Met: We were introduced by mutual friends in 2005 at a pool hall, where Morgan was playing in a family tournament. We quickly became friends and not long after that it turned into a relationship. It didn’t take long for us to see that we brought out the best in one another and that we make a pretty great team, so that led us to get married on October 6th, 2007.

Qualities We Love, Admire and Respect in Each Other: Morgan is the life of the party wherever we go. He’s also the person who would literally do anything to help anyone. He’s selfless, outgoing, kind, charismatic, genuine, and goofy! Laura is the first person I look for to tell the highlights of my day and the last person I want to talk to before I go to sleep. She somehow manages to keep up with our everyday lives and events while finding fun new activities for us to do as a family. We are 100% committed to our marriage and can genuinely say we are one another’s best friend.

Our Hobbies and Interests: We are a family that really enjoys just being together. We like to spend time outdoors, fishing, and riding four wheelers. We live on 72 acres so there is lots of room for outdoor activities! Our daughter Elaina is involved in softball and gymnastics. She’s super active so we are always doing something fun! We have a very large family that lives nearby so we really enjoy being with them as much as possible.

Why We Want to Adopt: Adoption is something we have discussed since we were dating. We both knew it was something we wanted to pursue in the future. After Laura delivered Elaina she had some complications that would make a future pregnancy dangerous so we felt that was Gods way of telling us it was time to follow our dream.
