Neel & Barbara
“It is our dream to expand our family and we can’t wait to make this blended family of three a family of four.”
Ages: 39 and 42
Professions: Retirement/Senior Technical Manager
Other Kids: 1 son
Preferences: Any Race, Either Gender, Newborn up to 20 months
How We Met: We met in the funniest way. One evening attending church Neel was volunteering and tasked to give guest welcome brochures. He and another volunteer were rushing to get the packets to guests, and a binder clip hit me in the bum. We both laughed, were a little embarrassed and didn’t speak that night. It wasn’t until two weeks later that our friends set us up on a double date. The binder clip was the cause that bonded us together and we have never stop laughing since.
Qualities We Love, Admire and Respect in Each Other: Neel is outgoing, fun, loving and an awesome father, to our son from his first marriage. He is an active parent always ensuring he is providing for Jayce by doing homework with him, taking him to practices, teaching him about sports, life, and most important faith.
Barbara has a loving personality with a tender heart. She cares about others more than herself. She is supportive and completes me using the qualities I don’t have. She is and will be a great mom.
Our Hobbies and Interests: Our blended family is very outgoing. We love our sports (football, basketball, baseball, and golf). We love to volunteer in our son’s extracurricular activities, as well as serve in our church. One of our favorite things are spending time at our large extended family gatherings locally and in New York where Neel is from. At these gatherings we love to dance, sing, eat, play games and just have fun.
Why We Want to Adopt: Life has given us a second chance to find love. It is our dream to expand our family; however, we could not conceive a child due to medical reasons. Because we married later in life, we want to experience parenthood together with Jayce and a smaller child. Our son is so excited he will be a big brother and would shout it from the mountain tops. Unfortunately, Florida is flat. Lol. We hope you choose us to make this blended family of three a family of four with one more child to complete our team.
