How We Met: We met through one of Dan’s close childhood friends who worked with Nic. She felt that we would hit it off and be a good fit for one another. From the start we have loved being together and feel that we complement each other very well. Nic is determined, energetic and enthusiastic about life. Dan is quieter, thoughtful, intellectual and loving and it creates a wonderful balance in our lives. We both share the same values and we also love to laugh and have fun together. We feel that we are on a great adventure together and can’t wait to see what life has in store for us.

Qualities We Love, Admire and Respect in Each Other: Nic is an energetic, thoughtful, outgoing and hard-working person and is always willing to be there for anyone in need no matter what the circumstances may be. He is a problem solver and will always go the extra mile to look out for and take care of the people that he loves. Dan is a compassionate, caring and loving person. He is deeply grounded in his faith and it serves as a compass for his life. He is the type of person that encourages others to treat people with kindness and respect.

Our Hobbies and Interests: We are a very active couple and love to travel and explore new places. We have a particular interest in historical sites and landmarks. Each year we go on a vacation and we are trying to travel to all of the National Parks. We also love to go to Disney World! Locally, we go to a Trivia game each week, Dan leads the team with answers and Nic just sits back and enjoys a good meal with friends! We also both like to go on walks at our local park and also dog sit for Nic’s sister and Dan’s parents.

Why We Want to Adopt: We have both known for some time that we wanted to be parents. Family is the most important part of our lives and we are overjoyed at the thought of being able to add to our family. We feel that since we are unable to have children ourselves, adoption is a blessing and will allow us to provide a loving home for a child. A child will join a loving, supportive and caring family with us.
