How We Met: We met online and began dating soon after. We quickly made getting to know one another a priority and discovered that we have a lot in common. We saw each other multiple times per week and talked nearly every day. During our time dating we got to know each other’s family and friends. We enjoyed going on walks, watching movies or Netflix, going to dinner or staying in to cook together, and spending time outside. After one year of dating, we got engaged. Nine months later, we had a beautiful wedding in our local church surrounded by family and friends.
Qualities We Love, Admire and Respect in Each Other: Aaron is kind, faithful, hardworking, dedicated, and playful. He enjoys adventure and enjoys when he is able to complete a project. He is very supportive, loving, and encouraging of Katie and their extended families. Katie is kind, hardworking, loyal, and thoughtful. She is a planner and enjoys being organized. She can be reserved at first but is quick to open up and is very devoted to her family and friends. We both believe that our faith, marriage, and family are the most important things in our lives. We have a good sense of humor and love being together.
Our Hobbies and Interests: We are a very active family. We love to travel, explore new places and experience new adventures. We love to spend time outdoors and enjoy activities such as going on walks, kayaking, camping, riding bikes, and sitting on our patio or around a campfire. Our extended families are spread out, so we often travel to see family or get together with friends on the weekend. We also enjoy spending time playing board games or watching movies together. We have dinner together every night and we spend time catching up on the events of the day. We are very family oriented.
Why We Want to Adopt: We have both always known that we wanted to be parents. After years of infertility and numerous procedures and appointments, we have not been able to have a biological child. Adoption has been in our hearts for over a year. After many prayers we believe that adoption is a beautiful way to make our dreams of parenthood come true. We are so excited to bring a baby into our family and cannot wait to pour our love out for a child. We are ready to be parents and will love and support a child so deeply.
