How We Met: We met when Jenny moved to Cam’s hometown to teach at a private school. We saw each other at church and Jenny became quick friends with Cam’s sister. Jenny was attracted to Cam’s big heart and the way he truly cared about others. We were friends for several years before we realized we were meant for each other! We have spent 11 wonderful years together and look forward to many more!

Qualities We Love, Admire and Respect in Each Other: Cam is an outgoing and friendly person. He is great at making conversation with people even though he may not have anything in common with them. Family means a lot to Cam, and we feel very loved by him! Jen is a very kind, loving and giving person. She has more of a quiet nature but those around her can always feel her love and support. We are committed to each other and our family!

Our Hobbies and Interests: We all love the outdoors! We spend lots of time in our yard playing with the kids and improving the landscaping. We enjoy fishing at the local lakes in the area. Every summer we go camping for a few days. The time is spent mainly out on the lake, skiing, tubing, fishing, or just taking a cruise and enjoying the scenery. Cooking over a fire adds another adventure. Many happy times are spent around the fire. That is the highlight of summer! Sitting around chatting about the days’ events or whatever is of interest is always a special time spent together as a family.

Why We Want to Adopt: We both love kids! We knew from the beginning of our marriage that biological children wouldn’t be an option due to Cam having cancer as a child. We were immediately drawn to adoption. We have two children through adoption. We love them dearly and feel so blessed to be the ones to parent them. We love our children dearly and can’t wait to add another child to our family!
