How We Met: We met when we were sixteen years old playing high school basketball. We immediately hit it off and would talk often. It was not long before I (Connor) knew I wanted to marry Olivia. I would even organize friend gatherings just to spend more time together. Despite our instant connection, we did not start dating until one year later. By that time, we were already the best of friends. We are so thankful for the friendship we developed so young that serves as a strong foundation for our marriage today. Each day is a blessing getting to go through life together.
Qualities We Love, Admire and Respect in Each Other: Connor is incredibly selfless, constantly giving his time and energy to help others. He has an infectious sense of humor that can make the shyest of people come out of their shells and feel comfortable. He is sensitive, gentle, and deeply caring for the people close to him. Olivia is smart, wise, organized, lighthearted and goofy. She loves to come alongside others and use her own experiences to encourage people. She is so strong and nurturing. Together we make the perfect team by supporting one another and helping each other grow.
Our Hobbies and Interests: We are a very active family. Sports (basketball, Spikeball, frisbee, volleyball) are a major part of our lives. We love to be outside with friends enjoying each other’s company and having some friendly competition. We love to travel, make memories, and explore new places. We also enjoy spending quiet time as a couple playing video games, watching movies together, cooking dinner, having a campfire, and just sitting down and talking. We are very close with our extended family nearby so quality time with them is a big part of our lives as well.
Why We Want to Adopt: We have looked forward to having children with so much anticipation and excitement. We have not yet been blessed with a child, but we continue to long for the day we get to shower a little one with unconditional love and care. Adoption has been on our hearts since before we knew each other, and we have both pictured it as being part of growing our family. Our family of two is full of love and laughter, and we would be so blessed to share our lives with a little one and become a family of three.
