How We Met: We met at an outdoor restaurant in Florida, both dancing to Rihanna; we both say we were the one to approach the other first. Jeff was finishing the fourth year of his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine, and David had his own digital video production company. Jeff fell in love with David’s infectious laugh and spirit, where David says it was Jeff’s sense of humor and intelligence that drew him in. We bought a house and moved to California a year later.
Qualities We Love, Admire and Respect in Each Other: Jeff is an incredible person. He is not only smart and educated, but also outgoing and funny; always bringing laughter and joy into our lives. I love that he is protective and always looks out for our family’s well-being. David is an amazing person! He is loving, caring, thoughtful, and hilarious, making every day interesting and fun. I have no doubt that he will create a wonderful childhood for a child or children. We promise above all to love, support, protect, and to provide for a future child and give them every opportunity we can.
Our Hobbies and Interests: We enjoy working out at our CrossFit gym, hiking, taking our dogs to the park, and going to the beach. Our interests include traveling, photography, theater/arts, volleyball, and softball. We pride ourselves on being an active, outdoorsy, and adventurous family with a wide range of interests. Jeff practices mostly emergency medicine with dogs and cats, and David creates videos and online content for makeup and beauty brands.
Why We Want to Adopt: We want nothing more than to fulfill our dreams of becoming parents and create a positive and devoted home, always proving a safe and loving environment for a future child. Our decision to adopt is driven by our deep desire to love and care for a child, to provide them with a lifetime of laughter, happiness, and endless opportunities.
