How We Met: Jeremy and I met through an online dating site in 2016. I was looking through profiles and saw a picture of Jeremy with his daughter, and I thought it was adorable. They looked so happy. I read through his profile and thought he sounded nice. We spent the first month getting to know each other via phone conversations and text messages before we had our first date. We met at a local restaurant for dinner and then went bowling. We both really enjoyed the night together and agreed to another date. We dated for about a year before we became engaged.

Qualities We Love, Admire and Respect in Each Other: Jeremy is kind, patient, hardworking and a great listener. He loves children and is a wonderful father and uncle. You can always find him hanging out with the children at family events and taking them on their next adventure. Heidi is caring, kind and loving. She has a great compassion for people and strives to help them in any way she can. We are both committed to our marriage and family and have learned that good communication is a key to success.

Our Hobbies and Interests: We are a busy family that loves to spend time outdoors. With the farm and large vegetable garden there are always plenty of things to do outside. We love to spend time with family. We get together with them for birthdays, holidays and special events. We also enjoy, watching movies together, going swimming at the local pool, and cooking dinners together. Being able to spend time together, regardless of what it is we are doing, is our favorite pastime.

Why We Want to Adopt: Adoption has always been on our minds and in our hearts. Jeremy and I have always known we wanted to grow our family but that it may not be possible naturally. We have so much love to give, and adoption provides us the option to grow our family. Raising Katie and giving her opportunities to excel is one of the greatest blessings we have been given, and it is our heart’s desire to be able to provide that to another child.
