How We Met: We met around 13 at church. We had several similar friends and ended up spending a lot of time together. At 17 we started to see our friendship in a whole new light and started dating. We have gotten to share so much of our lives together. We got married several years later and started building our family and a lifetime of memories together. We have a biological daughter who we adore. It’s been over 10 years since we started dating and we are so excited for what the future holds for our family.
Qualities We Love, Admire and Respect in Each Other: Justin is the most loyal loving hard-working person I know. He is a kid at heart who loves to make every day an adventure for our daughter. He has such a love for people and animals. His humor makes every day fun for our family. Katie is the sweetest and most patient mom you will ever meet. She loves an adventure but keeps our family together with plans for our daughter and taking care of our home. She makes family a huge priority and makes us feel so loved but expect to laugh.
Our Hobbies and Interests: Our family shares a lot of hobbies. Our faith and our families are a huge thing we share. We love our backyard farm with chickens, ducks, and a garden. We love to travel as a family, sometimes camping, and enjoy walks with our dog Daisy. We love learning new cultures and we also appreciate a good hockey game. We love to spend time we family and friends, so we usually have plans with them throughout the week and travel with them a few times a year. We have several babies in our extended family, who our daughter loves to play with. Katie loves to cook and entertain, while Justin loves to eat so it works out well.
Why We Want to Adopt: We always knew we wanted to have both adoptive children and biological children even before we got married. What we didn’t know is that getting pregnant would be difficult for us. We already have one biological child, and we would love to continue to add to our family through adoption. We always pictured having kids that would grow up together. We are so excited to welcome another child into our loving home and for our daughter to have a sibling. We are so grateful to you for considering us.
