How We Met: We met at a restaurant in our hometown. Luke just moved back in town and Cassy had just moved home from college. Luke would say that it was love at first sight, but Cassy wasn’t so sure. After Luke had asked Cassy for her number and didn’t get it, they continued to run into each other and eventually went on a date. We found that we both had a desire for adventure and quickly became inseparable. Going on many adventures, traveling, and attending church together. We dated for 3 years before getting married in 2013.

Qualities We Love, Admire and Respect in Each Other: Luke takes great pride in his family and their ability to Love. He has a passion for the outdoors spending time hunting, fishing, and anything else he can do to get outside and share adventures with his family. He also runs a non-profit that focuses on getting Veterans and Active-Duty Military into the great outdoors. He enjoys turning wrenches and building Jeeps and taking them off-roading. Cassy loves to LOVE. She has a huge heart for everyone. Cassy likes to always keep the kiddos guessing on what kinds of adventures they will go on or different crafts to tear into for the day. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga and holistic healthy living.

Our Hobbies and Interests: Our crazy crew loves to have fun. We all love to do crafts whether it be painting, making things, playing in the mud, etc. We all love to try new things and get out and see the world. We also love to snuggle up at home and enjoy our weekly Friday night pizza and a movie. Our family motto is Work Hard, Never Quit, and Trust in God! We also have two dogs, Shooter and Lucy and on any given day we may have other critters in the house depending on what the kids bring in. Momma just has one rule… no Snakes!

Why We Want to Adopt: We have been blessed with three amazing biological children and we adopted our son Jack in 2021. As we wanted to have more children, we wanted to look to adoption to live out God’s plan for our lives. We love being parents and we look forward to growing our family!
