How We Met: We are one of the lucky couples who met through a dating app. We were living only a few miles apart at the time. Six months into our relationship, Matt moved to another state for his job, and we decided to try dating long distance. Over this time, our relationship became even stronger. After a year of dating Matt proposed while we were playing mini golf. We feel our openness to communication is what makes our marriage so strong.

Qualities We Love, Admire and Respect in Each Other: Matt was so easy to fall in love with because he treats others with such care and kindness. He makes me laugh and is the most easygoing person to be around. As a husband he is incredibly supportive and such a great listener. He prioritizes communication and I know when there is something he wants to discuss. He always approaches it with love, kindness, and an open heart. Megan is funny, kind, beautiful, and an amazing companion. She supports me in all areas of my life. I can always rely on her to be there for me whenever I need it.

Our Hobbies and Interests: We enjoy cooking together and trying new recipes. We are foodies and love to try new restaurants in the area. We like to take advantage of the nice weather and enjoy playing golf and going on walks and hikes on trails near our home. Our latest hobby is taking up pickle ball. We love to travel and explore new areas and cultures. Our goal is to travel to all 7 continents. We also enjoy relaxing at home by playing board games, watching movies, and making homemade popcorn. We are both looking forward to becoming parents and sharing our interests with a child.

Why We Want to Adopt: We have always wanted children and have struggled with infertility. We have a passion for adoption as Megan was adopted as an infant. She has always wanted to share that journey with a child and has inspired Matt to be part of that journey. Having that perspective as an adoptee I feel grateful I will be able to support your child in their own adoption story. We believe that the more people who love a child the better, and we know that choosing adoption is an act of love.
