How We Met: We met on a dating website, and were instantly attracted to each other’s faith in God, and love for others. Our first date did not come long after meeting online. It was a simple coffee date, and we hit it off right away. It was so fun that our second date was planned before we left! Six months after we started dating, we decided that marriage was in our future, and a few weeks later Scott proposed in the kitchen of our home. It was such a simple and sweet proposal and a memory we will always cherish. Our wedding was a dream come true and we love being married to each other.
Qualities We Love, Admire and Respect in Each Other: Scott is kind, thoughtful and joyful. He is a patient teacher, and loves helping others. His smile is contagious, and he always has a word of encouragement. Jessica is sweet, loving and fun. She has never met a stranger and is always trying to brighten someone’s day. Jessica has cared for our niece and she is so caring, nurturing and patient. We both look forward to the joys and challenges of parenthood. We love working together and value gratitude, laughter and fun. Our marriage and family are precious to us and we are excited to share our love with a child.
Our Hobbies and Interests: We love spending time outdoors, walking our dog on trails or at the beach. We also enjoy woodworking, painting, and cooking together and we make sure we always have breakfast and dinner together as a family. Often, we will have our friends and family over for dinner and a game night. Every Sunday we have lunch with our extended family, including both sets of parents, brother, sister in-law and niece. We will be living in Spain for a few years for work and we think it will be amazing to have a child or children to share in the experience with us. We look forward to traveling and experiencing life in Spain and Europe.
Why We Want to Adopt: We have always wanted children and a big family. Adoption has always been a dream for our family, and we are filled with so much joyful anticipation of the day we meet your child. We chose adoption because we believe it is a beautiful and meaningful way to become a family. We believe one amazing part of adoption is the possibility of a relationship with you as well. We would love to get to know you and have you as part of our extended family if that is something you desire.
