How We Met: Lindsay had previously worked with Tasso’s cousin and was grabbing dinner with her to catch up. At that time, Tasso’s cousin had an idea to play Matchmaker. She said to Lindsay, “I think my cousin, Tasso, would be a good match for you.” She texted him to come to the restaurant and he did! We initially met that day but quickly coordinated our first official first date and from there our relationship continued to grow.
Qualities We Love, Admire and Respect in Each Other: Lindsay is a genuine, outgoing, and positive person. She has a vibrant and inspiring spirit that shines through and often draws others in. Lindsay is an incredible partner, a supporter and champion for me and our family. She is energetic, fun-loving, and makes the most out of every day. Lindsay makes our home and daily activities come alive! Tasso has the largest and most compassionate heart. His greatest strength is patience while also being warm and inviting. Tasso is ecstatic to be the most supportive, nurturing, kind, and loving Dad. He will do everything he can to create and give new experiences every day to his loved ones.
Our Hobbies and Interests: Lindsay values spending time with family and loves hosting get to togethers in our home and impresses our guests with fantastic dinners and desserts that she prepares. Lindsay also usually has a craft/DIY project going on. Lindsay works on anything from making a wreath for our front door, arranging flowers, or repotting house plants. She also enjoys decorating our home for the holidays. Lastly, during football and hockey seasons our home will be filled with Steelers and Penguins Games. Tasso loves hanging out with his nephews. From kicking a soccer ball around, to helping with homework, and to building play forts with sofa cushions Tasso welcomes adventure and fun regardless of whether it is a day we stay at home or one where we venture out. Tasso enjoys reading about anything historical or biographical. He also loves science and likes to learn about new things, especially space exploration and planets in the solar system. Tasso enjoys playing and watching sports, especially soccer.
Why We Want to Adopt: We are a compassionate couple and have decided to adopt because we struggled with infertility and are unable to have children on our own. We have so much love, support, and kindness and want to share it with your child. We will do our best to guide your child through all the joyous times but will also be their pillars of strength through any difficult times. We hold our values close to our hearts and we will strive to ensure we share not only our values but also provide stability, opportunity, and passion with your child.
