How We Met: We met online through a Catholic dating site.  We got to know each other first through phone calls and FaceTime chats, some of which lasted anywhere from four to eight hours. We got to know each other as friends before deciding to date. After about three months, we knew we were attracted to each other and wanted to plan a visit. We were able to arrange our first visit two months later. We were married about two years after meeting online!

Qualities We Love, Admire and Respect in Each Other: Patrick is the most loyal, faithful, patient, loving, self-sacrificing husband. He is always willing to run errands or help with chores whenever asked or needed. He is looking forward to sharing our faith and passing on our love of God and neighbor with our children. Katherine is the most loyal, faithful, loving, and supportive wife that any husband could ever want. The greatest blessing is that we complement each other well, with Katherine being strong in finances, schedule keeping, and teaching while Patrick is strong in house-cleaning and home organizing.  We are blessed to have found each other.

Our Hobbies and Interests: We are both very active in that Katherine exercises almost every day and we enjoy taking a nice romantic stroll each Sunday together. We enjoy teaching religious education classes at our home parish during the school year and volunteering at church and marriage ministry. Patrick enjoys following spaceflights, restoring old computers, and visiting thrift stores. Katherine enjoys writing and offering support to those in need.

Why We Want to Adopt: We have always known we wanted to become parents. We have been open to life since marriage and have not been able to conceive a child.  We prayed and discerned that we were called to adopt a child. We both teach children and we see them as a gift and blessing to a family.
